How to prepare for your massage

• Take a warm shower or bath.

• Tie up long hair to protect it from massage oils.

• Remove all jewelry.

• Drinking alcohol prior to your appointment is not recommended.

• Avoid drinking coffee immediately before the massage session—it's a stimulant and will make it harder to relax.
• Have a light meal no later than 90 minutes before the massage.

• Throughout the session, you will be covered with a towel or blanket. Only the parts of your body currently massaged will be exposed.

• Feel free to provide your own music selection. If you'd rather forgo music or aromatherapy, let the therapist know.

• Your therapist will be happy to address any questions or concerns you might have. If there is anything you would like to know, do not hesitate to ask.

• Inform the therapist immediately of any discomfort. Let them know if you feel they are using too much—or not enough—pressure.

What you will need

The therapist will arrive at the time of your choosing with a portable massage table and massage supplies. Please direct them to an area where they can set up the table. Note that they will require a work space of approximately 2.3 x 1.5 m. For your comfort, ambient temperature should not be lower than 22 degrees Celsius.

The therapist will ask you some questions in order to determine if the planned massage is right for you.

If there are any contraindications for the selected massage, the therapist may suggest an alternative. Please prepare one small and two large towels, as well as a blanket. Keep in mind the items will be exposed to massage oils.
